Especially in old age, independence in everyday life is an important factor for many people. Modern technology, so-called Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), can be a great support and contribute to greater well-being.
Motion sensors in mattresses and rooms, presence and fall detectors or flexibly installed emergency call and control buttons provide the important and necessary information that allow you to live safely and comfortably in your own home even in old age. One aspect that’s particularly important is that this support is integrated into everyday life as a matter of course. Moreover, the devices need to be operated as simple and as intuitive as possible, like apps on a smartphone. The smart home ticks all these boxes: The intelligent control of light, heating, blinds and other electrical appliances increases the living comfort of the entire family.
With our wireless technology you can flexibly add little helpers for older people to the system like sensors that record activity and well-being. The great thing is that these devices only provide support when needed and in an emergency.

Technology can be used to safely and remotely monitor people in their own homes. In addition, the strain on hospitals and bed management can be significantly reduced by enabling early release from the hospital for those for whom monitoring is deployed. Knowing they are still being looked after and living independently brings immense reassurance, both to the individuals and to their families.
