Graham Martin is Chairman and CEO of the EnOcean Alliance. After having graduated in Physics at Edinburgh University, Scotland. He worked in various engineering and management positions across Europe and the USA since the 1980s, pioneering in new technologies such as NFC, GSM, Z-Wave, Zigbee and EnOcean. In 2008, he founded the EnOcean Alliance to further develop and promote sustainable buildings around the globe.

Armin Pelka has 40 years of software experience and has been working with EnOcean technology for 16 years. Since 2017, he has served as the Certification Manager and TWG Officer for the EnOcean Alliance. He has contributed to many of the Alliance’s specifications. With his extensive experience, he has developed software for numerous EnOcean Alliance members’ products.

Matthias Kassner is Vice President Product Marketing at EnOcean GmbH. Before joining EnOcean in 2013, he worked at Texas Instruments (TI) for 12 years in different positions from SW developer and Wireless Field Application Engineer to EMEA Product Marketing Manager for TI’s Application Processor portfolio.At EnOcean, he leads the product marketing team responsible for defining our energy harvesting solutions which deliver IoT sensor data that make our daily lives smarter, more comfortable and sustainable.

RF Product Design Made Easy – TCM600/615 by Thomas Rieder, ViCOS GmbH

Thomas Rieder is co-founder and associate of ViCOS GmbH in Salzburg, Austria. After acting as CEO of ViCOS for many years, he now is focused on RF technology and product design for OEM and ODM customers again. His EnOcean experience started in 2006, when a first receive-only actuator has been developed by ViCOS and since then more than 150 EnOcean products have been created by the ViCOS team. After having graduated in RF and Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Thomas started his professional development career at Rohde & Schwarz. Before founding ViCOS in 2005 he held leading positions in development, product management and global sourcing for mobile radio infrastructure manufacturers. In 2008 he created the brand PROBARE, specialized in EnOcean radio testing solutions used by many companies in the field, for development and EnOcean Certification as well as for volume manufacturing. Since day one of the EnOcean Alliance, Thomas is an active participant of the Technical Working Group and continuously involved in standardization work.

Best practice from the perspective of an application provider by Dr. Marc Gille – THING TECHNOLOGIES

Dr. Marc Gille is founder and CEO of THING TECHNOLOGIES, father of the Thing-it product and serial entrepreneur. Until 2016, he was SVP Product Management at SunGard / FIS, where he was responsible for the company’s technology and strategy for integration and business process management. Previously, Marc Gille founded the BPM company CARNOT in 2000, led it as CEO and sold it to the American company SunGard / FIS in 2006. The CARNOT Process Engine became the Infinity Process Platform and is used by many banks and other financial service providers via SunGard / FIS products. He regularly publishes in magazines and books on building digitalization and teaches on the topic as a private lecturer at the TH Aschaffenburg with a focus on Generative AI. Marc Gille has a background in IT and physics and a Dr.-Ing. in Information Science from the Ruhr University Bochum.

Energy-saving measures and climate neutrality: integration of EnOcean in Datacake IoT Platform by Simon Kemper

Simon Kemper is the co-founder and CEO of Datacake GmbH, a company that has been offering the Datacake IoT platform since 2016 and has successfully scaled to over 20,000 users worldwide. In his presentation, he will show how to connect Datacake with EnOcean to implement energy-saving measures that can reduce energy costs by over 30% and save CO2.

KG.

With over two decades experience in wireless networking technologies in various client environments and verticals he is the first german speaking trainer for Hamina Wireless products.
